Attorney Charles Cooper Joins Bryant Miller Olive

     Bryant Miller Olive announced today that attorney Charles L. Cooper, Jr. has joined the firm and is resident in its Tallahassee office. Cooper will join the firm’s Taxation, Real Property, Corporate and Business divisions, bringing significant experience in commercial real estate and business transactions. His familiarity with a diverse range of business practices allows him to effectively service clients, representing and advising them in all phases of their operations.

     Cooper has gained a thorough knowledge of business practices, from the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, through the operating and sale or dissolution stages. He has guided clients through the complicated process of selecting and organizing the appropriate business entity; establishing corporate procedures; preparation of shareholder and partnership buy-sell agreement; negotiating and drafting contracts and has represented such clients on the federal and state levels.

     Currently, Cooper is an active citizen member of the Leon County, Florida, Citizens’ Investment Oversight Committee. He is also a member of the Florida and Georgia Bar.

     Cooper received his LL.M. from University of Florida, and his B.S. in Accounting and J.D., with honors, from Florida State University.
