Tallahassee, Fla. – Bryant Miller Olive (BMO) is pleased to announce the addition of two new attorneys to its Litigation and Labor and Employment practice groups. Andrew Byrne has joined BMO’s Miami office as a shareholder, and Ryan Hobbs has joined the firm’s Tallahassee office as an associate.
Andrew Byrne has more than 25 years of experience as a litigator, and is board certified by The Florida Bar as a legal expert in the areas of Business Litigation and Labor and Employment Law. Mr. Byrne has represented private and public clients in federal and state litigation and administrative proceedings involving labor and employment matters as well as complex business disputes. He also advises employers regarding routine matters of employment policies, procedures and practices. In addition to his representation of clients, Mr. Bryne regularly provides mediation services in the area of Labor and Employment law. He also serves as an investigator of pending Labor and Employment law claims on behalf of other law firms and employers.
Ryan Hobbs represents individuals and business entities in all forms of litigation throughout the State of Florida, and was recognized by the 2012 Florida Super Lawyers publication as a Rising Star in the category of Business Litigation. Mr. Hobbs has focused much of his practice in the area of labor and employment law, including matters related to employment discrimination (at both the state and federal levels), the Family and Medical Leave Act, and workers’ compensation retaliation. His previous experience also includes representation of clients in matters of election law and political affairs.
