Suzanne Van Wyk and Michael Davis will address a statewide gathering of local government lawyers on Hometown Democracy, the St. Pete Beach Experience.  Mr. Davis, who is City Attorney of St Pete Beach and Ms. Van Wyk, who is special counsel to the City, will be joined by Michael Bonfield, the City Manager, to share their perspective on the St. Pete Beach experience and the litigation which has resulted from St. Pete Beach's version of local hometown democracy. Ms. Van Wyk and Mr. Davis will speak at the 33rd Annual Local Government Law in Florida conference on May 7, 2010, in St. Pete Beach.  The conference draws municipal and county government attorneys and private practitioners who represent these public entities from across Florida.
