Bryant Miller Olive’s public finance attorneys have vast experience in assisting pubic utility clients achieve financing of development projects and acquisitions through tax-exempt financings and regularly collaborate with attorneys in the firm’s Energy & Utility group to assist clients in tapping program funds and implementing projects through conventional bond issues as well as public-private partnerships and other innovative project structures. Our recent experience in front-line energy and utility matters includes:

Representing a public water/wastewater utility in its procurement of automated meter reading infrastructure and related systems
Assisting a producer of renewable solid fuel in the development and financing of its manufacturing plant and negotiation of major supply agreements
Representing a landowner in its negotiation of long-term lease for the siting of a large solar energy generating facility
Assisting a public utility in implementation of its plan to procure electricity and renewable energy credits from generating plants and systems
