Bryant Miller Olive was proud to be a sponsor of the Florida Association of Local Housing Finance Authorities Education Conference (FALHFA) July 6-8, 2016. Tampa-based BMO lawyer Monique Spotts and Tallahassee-based BMO lawyer Jason Breth attended the conference, which provided an opportunity for local municipal bond issuers and related professionals to share ideas and strategies for providing safe and affordable housing throughout the state. Ms. Spotts was a speaker at the conference on the issues of bonds, ethics, and the Florida Sunshine Law.

FALHFA is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to financing affordable single-family and multi-family housing in the State of Florida.  FALHFA is an advocate before the legislature and state agencies on legislative and regulatory issues affecting affordable housing, and provides technical assistance and educational opportunities to its members and the public. Members include county and city housing finance authorities, developers (for-profit, non-profit, and public), and firms that provide services to local housing finance authorities, such as investment bankers, credit underwriters, consultants, financial advisers, and attorneys.
