Bryant Miller Olive law firm supports Hurricane Irma relief with $2,500 donation to the American Red Cross

Law firm Bryant Miller Olive (BMO) has donated $2,500 to the Red Cross to aid in Hurricane Irma relief. BMO employees participated in the donation effort by wearing “Jeans and Red” and by making regular contributions in September and October.

Employees raised a total of $1,500 and the firm contributed an additional $1,000. Directed towards Hurricane Irma, the funding will be used to provide shelter, food and comfort to people whose lives have been turned upside down.

“With so many homes and families in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico devastated by hurricanes this year, our firm wanted to find a way to help them, as well as support the incredible relief efforts of the Red Cross,” said Grace Dunlap, Bryant Miller Olive Managing Shareholder. “It’s the time of year when giving back means so much, which makes us feel very thankful to be able to contribute to relief efforts in this way.”

According to the American Red Cross, the organization’s response to Hurricane Irma has included serving more than 1.5 million meals and snacks, as well as providing more than 1 million relief items (such as diapers, bug spray, and toothbrushes) across six states.
