“Working with Bryant Miller Olive since 2015 as a law clerk, Christa has already provided valuable contributions,” Managing Shareholder Grace Dunlap said. “Her background in finance, and experience working with the Public Finance Practice Group, will help her hit the ground running for our clients.”

Childers graduated summa cum laude in 2013 from The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. She began law school at The Florida State University College of Law in the fall of 2014 with a full tuition scholarship and graduated magna cum laude and top 10% of her class in May 2017.

While in law school, Childers passed all four parts of the Certified Public Accountant exam. She also worked as a law clerk at Bryant Miller Olive, primarily assisting the bond finance practice group. Childers was an active member of the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi, the Women’s Law Society and the American Inns of Courts, an association of lawyers and judges facilitating mentorship and discussing pressing legal issues of the day.

Giving back to her alma mater, Childers created a 501(c)(3) that supports the new Law and Justice Certificate program at FSU. The program focuses on history, ethics and jurisprudence.
