Jason Breth elected as a Shareholder at Bryant Miller Olive

Bryant Miller Olive is proud to announce that Jason Breth has been elected a Shareholder of the firm.

Breth, 34, joined the firm in 2006 and works in its Tallahassee office, specializing in complex financing transactions. He has served as bond, disclosure or underwriters’ counsel on more than 150 transactions involving over $9.5 billion of debt issues by state agencies, counties, municipalities, school districts and special districts.

“It’s been exciting to watch Jason’s career develop over more than a decade at Bryant Miller Olive, and we’re excited to welcome him as a Shareholder,” said Grace Dunlap, the firm’s managing shareholder. “Jason is a brilliant, dedicated, client-focused attorney and we’re pleased that he has chosen to share his career and talent with us.”

Among many notable cases in Breth’s career, he represented the South Florida Water Management District in a case that went to the Florida Supreme Court, affirming the district’s authority to purchase 73,000 acres for Everglades restoration, and won a Florida district court case that affirmed a Florida school district’s home rule authority and ability to issue debt through such authority.

Breth is a 2004 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a 2007 graduate of Florida State University College of Law. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
