Since 1984, Randy Hanna's practice has been primarily dedicated to serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel or underwriters' counsel in complex financings. He has also served as special counsel to numerous governmental units, has represented clients before state agencies and has worked on numerous projects in the energy and utility areas. Mr. Hanna has been Managing Shareholder of Bryant Miller Olive since 1997. He has a B.S. degree from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Mr. Hanna is listed in the 2005-06 edition of The Best Lawyers in America and has been recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as among the state’s Legal Elite. He has served as Chairman of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners and the State Board of Community Colleges. He has additionally served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Florida A&M University. He is Chairman of the Chamber of the Tallahassee Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hanna joined Bryant Miller Olive as a law clerk in 1982, graduated with high honors as a member of Order of the Coif and Law Review from the Florida State University College of Law in 1983, and joined the firm as a practicing attorney upon admission to The Florida Bar in 1984.
