Wilton Miller was appointed Deputy Attorney General under Richard Ervin in 1962, where, for two years, he handled the AG's legislative program. Mr. Miller then served as a close advisor and legal counsel to then Gov. C. Farris Bryant. During this time, the Jaycees named Mr. Miller one of America's outstanding young men. In 1965, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Doyle Conner appointed Mr. Miller as the department's chief counsel. He served in this post until 1969 when he entered private legal practice. In 1973, Mr. Miller became a partner in Bryant Miller Olive. Mr. Miller is currently the firm's senior partner, where his clients have included the Senate Ways and Means Committee, the Metropolitan Mortgage Company, Florida Mortgage Brokers Association, The Coca-Cola Company, Voyager Life Insurance Company, Florida Power and Light Company, Control Data Corporation and several governmental agencies. Representing these clients before the Florida Cabinet and Legislature, Mr. Miller brings invaluable political and professional relationships to the service of the firm's clients. Mr. Miller is well informed on public utility legislative matters and regulatory issues pertaining to the Public Service Commission, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Revenue. He graduated from the University of Florida Law School in 1962.
