Bryant Miller Olive has extensive experience representing special districts throughout the State. Such clients include large-scale stewardship or improvement districts, community development districts, special benefit districts, fire control districts, educational facilities benefit districts, utility authorities and a vast variety of other special taxing districts.  We have served our special district clients in various capacities, including bond, disclosure, issuer, general and special counsel.  Bryant Miller Olive has a long history of assisting our clients in developing financing plans which have leveraged financial resources through the use of special assessments, user fees, project revenues and tax increment financings, as well as a variety of other financing sources.  As one of the largest and most resourceful public finance legal groups in the State, Bryant Miller Olive offers the best of both worlds: the depth, breadth and expertise of a large firm and the teamwork, responsiveness, and creativity of a small firm.

Bryant Miller Olive also has experience representing each of the various other parties involved in special district financings, including the bond trustee, private lenders and the underwriter.  Our Firm has also represented private landowners with respect to the creation of CDDs and the validation of its authority to issue bonds.
