Mr. Crosland is Board-Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Florida Bar, which designates him as an expert in the field. Mr. Crosland has represented management exclusively in the practice of labor and employment law for over four decades. He has advised clients in both the private and public sectors in numerous successful election campaigns which resulted in the defeat of union organizing attempts. He also has extensive experience in advising clients how to maintain a union-free workplace environment. Mr. Crosland represents employers before the National Labor Relations Board and the Florida Public Employee Relations Commission in both representation (union organizing) and unfair labor practice cases. He also represents employers in collective bargaining negotiations and in the grievance and arbitration processes. Mr. Crosland has represented employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters before federal, state and local employment discrimination agencies and in both federal and state courts involving claims of race, sex, national origin, religion, age discrimination, retaliation and constitutional claims. He has also represented both private and public sector clients in defending whistleblower claims. He regularly counsels clients on a wide variety of personnel policy and compensation issues. He has been named in The Best Lawyers in America, a list compiled through a peer-review survey, for the past twenty years. He was listed in Florida Trends Legal Elite, and named as one of Florida’s Super Lawyers every year since 2006. Mr. Crosland received his B.A. from Tulane University and his J.D. from Tulane Law School in 1968.
