Bryant Miller Olive seeks a 1L or 2L for a part-time law clerk in its Tallahasse office for Fall 2022. Bryant Miller Olive represents governments, businesses, and agencies in legal matters relating to public finance, state and local government law, affordable housing, labor and employment, public private partnerships, real estate and commercial transactions, and litigation.
The law clerk's responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting extensive legal research; drafting legal memoranda, resolutions and various transactional documents; participating in conference calls and communicating with supervising partners regarding assignments.
Qualifications may include a background or interest in contracts, finance, local government, securities, or tax law; demonstrated computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and electronic research tools; ability to work independently and in a team environment; excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills; effective communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and flexibility for occasional overtime.
