The multi-office, multi-state law firm of Bryant Miller Olive seeks a part-time Office Assistant in our downtown Tampa office. Responsibilities include general clerical tasks including greeting clients, interacting with vendors, preparing conference rooms for meetings, copying, scanning, filing, faxing, ordering supplies, receiving, distributing and preparing mail and overnight packages, completing expense reports, preparing invoices and other administrative duties as needed. This position will provide support to legal staff, attorneys and the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer.
Qualifications include a minimum of a high school diploma, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook), two years of experience in a professional service office, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The individual who fills this position will be required to maintain reliable transportation and will be expected to drive as needed to accomplish tasks associated with business matters for the firm. This position requires an individual to be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Qualified candidates will understand the importance of customer service, confidentiality and a “Team First” approach. Qualified candidates will possess the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
