Bryant Miller Olive welcomes Isabella Sobel

Bryant Miller Olive has announced that Isabella Sobel has joined the firm’s Tampa office as a member of the Litigation Practice Group and Stat e and Local Government Practice Group. In her new role, Sobel represents BMO’s local government and private clients in various litigation matters.

“Isabella will be a valuable addition to Bryant Miller Olive,” Managing Shareholder Grace Dunlap said. “Her litigation experience and knowledge of the Tampa Bay area, coupled with Bryant Miller Olive’s wide breadth of experience, will be of tremendous benefit to our clients.”

Sobel most recently worked as a senior associate at Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod & Kantor in Tampa, defending Florida corporations, public entities and insured individuals in civil litigation matters.

She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania in 2010, and returned home to Florida for law school, attending the Stetson University College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2014.

While in law school, Sobel worked as a research assistant and served as a law clerk for  the Manatee County Attorney’s Office, the Office of the General Counsel of St. Petersburg College, and the National Labor Relations Board. , During her time at Stetson, she gave back to the community by volunteering in the research division for the Innocence Initiative, a student sponsored organization dedicated to preventing future wrongful convictions.
