Bryant Miller Olive's Denise M. Heekin wins major employment case for South Florida client
Miami Shareholder Denise M. Heekin scored a victory for one of our South Florida clients in a lawsuit brought by former employees who filed a lengthy complaint alleging numerous causes of action against the city, former city officials, and others. The claims were varied, but essentially tried to assert there had been a conspiracy to deprive the former employees of promotion opportunities and various benefits and pay. Denise filed a motion to dismiss and the court granted the motion and dismissed all claims with prejudice.
