Bryant Miller Olive Alum Randy Hanna named dean of FSU's Panama City campus and the College of Applied Studies
Former Bryant Miller Olive managing shareholder Randy Hanna this week was named dean of Florida State University’s Panama City campus and the College of Applied Studies, a role he has held on an interim basis since leaving the firm in August.
“Randy Hanna’s outstanding leadership has already benefited FSU Panama City, and I am confident he will direct the college to even greater accomplishments,” said Provost Sally McRorie. “His experience in many roles in higher education has proven to be invaluable as we work to expand educational, research and service opportunities at the FSU Panama City campus and throughout the region.”
Hanna said he is looking forward to continuing to serve. “Over the past four months I have had the opportunity to work with a great group of faculty, staff and students and am excited about the future of FSU in this region of Florida,” Hanna said. “I have seen few places where there is such a strong connection between the campus and the community.”
“This is great news for Florida State and the community,” said Grace Dunlap, managing shareholder for Bryant Miller Olive. “Randy has a heart of service and a passion for higher education that will serve the FSU community well.”
Randy began his law career at BMO in 1984 and served as managing shareholder of the firm from 1998-2011 before leaving to serve as the Chancellor for the Florida College System. He returned to BMO in January 2015.
