Bryant Miller Olive elects Monique Spotts and Rhonda Bond-Collins as the firm's newest shareholders
Monique Spotts
Monique R. Spotts has been named a shareholder in the Tampa office of Bryant Miller Olive.
Spotts, a public finance attorney since 1987, returned to Bryant Miller Olive’s Tampa office in 2013, and focuses her practice on government public finance and affordable housing. She serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriters’ counsel on governmental financings involving local and state entities and special districts.
Spotts is a member of The Florida Bar and the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and is admitted to practice law in Connecticut. She earned a Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
Rhonda Bond-Collins
Rhonda D. Bond-Collins has been named a shareholder in the Orlando office of Bryant Miller Olive. She focuses on public finance and affordable housing.
Bond-Collins has significant experience representing banks on governmental finance transactions, and colleges and universities on various types of financing transactions. She also serves as bond counsel, trustee’s counsel and disclosure counsel, and has represented both purchasers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions.
She is a member of The Florida Bar, Maryland State Bar, Virginia State Bar and District of Columbia Bar. Actively involved in the public finance industry, she is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and a frequent panelist at various conferences around the country.
Bond-Collins earned her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law, and her bachelor’s degree in business and management from University of Maryland, University College.
