Bryant Miller Olive Welcomes Randy Hanna Back

Tallahassee, FL – Randy Hanna, former Chancellor of the Florida College System, will return to Bryant Miller Olive, a multi-state law firm specializing in public finance, legislative and governmental affairs, higher education, local government, litigation, public private partnerships and labor and employment law.

Hanna served as managing shareholder from 1998 until 2011 when he left the firm to serve as chancellor. As chancellor, Hanna led a system of 28 colleges serving more than 800,000 students. During his tenure, the colleges focused on student success initiatives and greater collaboration between the colleges and both the K-12 and the state university systems.

In addition to practicing at Bryant Miller Olive, Hanna will teach at the university level and will consult with higher education institutions and organizations.

Hanna has played a major role in local and state economic development activities, including serving as Chairman of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. He was recognized by Florida State University as a recipient of its 2014 “Grad Made Good” award and was previously named as Leader of the Year for the Tallahassee area by Leadership Tallahassee.
