We are pleased to welcome Stephanie M. Smith, Esq. To the firm’s Real Property and Commercial Transactions Practice in the Washington, D.C. Office.
Mrs. Smith brings over 27 years of experience to the firm, she focuses on representing and advising clients in all aspects of new markets tax credits, commercial real estate, real property, affordable housing and public private partnerships.
Ms. Smith has worked with developers and businesses to create communities; corporate restructuring, property acquisition, contracts, financing, and closing on multifamily and mixed-use projects. Specifically, Ms. Smith advises, coordinates and prepares transactional documentation for business owners, real estate developers and investors. Prior to joining Bryant Miller Olive, she was the Managing Partner for SMS Law Offices where she focused on representing and advising LLCs, corporations, non-profits, trusts and estates in matters such as financing complex real estate development projects, corporate tax planning, and government tax credits equity.
