J. Caden Strain is an associate attorney in the firm’s Tampa office. As a member of the Public Finance practice group, Mr. Strain focuses his practice on all aspects of public finance transactions, representing clients in the role of Bond Counsel, Bank’s Counsel, Borrower’s Counsel, Disclosure Counsel, Issuer's Counsel and Underwriter's Counsel, with a primary focus on serving as Bond Counsel on conduit bond transactions.
Mr. Strain joined the firm in 2024 as a law clerk. Prior to joining Bryant Miller Olive, he served as a law clerk and legal assistant for two law firms in Tampa.
He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) simultaneously, from Stetson University College of Law, with high honors. While in law school, Mr. Strain passed the FINRA Securities Essentials (SIE) Exam, was an active member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, served as Associate Editor of the Journal of International Aging Law and Policy, and served as Treasurer of the Investment and Finance Law Association. Mr. Strain received his B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice with a Minor in Philosophy from the University of Alabama.
