KaCee Johnson Lackey is a member of Bryant Miller Olive’s Real Property and Commercial Transactions practice group. Mrs. Johnson Lackey focuses on representing clients in complex real estate matters, including commercial, residential and governmental development projects and real estate finance. Her legal practice includes extensive experience providing representation in a variety of real estate matters. Specifically, Mrs. Johnson Lackey served as the in-house real estate specialist and as counsel for Florida Housing Finance Corporation’s Predevelopment Loan Program providing legal and policy analysis, as well as drafting loan and post-closing ancillary documents, reviewing and analyzing due diligence and working with outside counsel in commercial loan closings. During this time, she was responsible for providing general in-house real estate, business entity, transactional, and administrative law support to Florida Housing loan programs and to various administrative divisions. In addition, Mrs. Johnson Lackey also served as senior attorney with the Office of the General Counsel within Florida Department of Environmental Protection practicing real estate, administrative, land use, and environmental law. She served as lead counsel on various State Park and State Lands real property matters, including leases, easements, linear facilities, land acquisition, and conservation easements.
Mrs. Johnson Lackey has in depth knowledge of multiple areas of law including tax, corporate, contract, estate, family, foreclosure, and bankruptcy law representing municipal corporations and financial services companies in various legal issues related to loan administration, business entity and transactional matters.
Mrs. Johnson Lackey was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007, and received her Juris Doctor from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2006. She received her Master of Science in Agronomy and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The University of Georgia.
