Ellie Neiberger, Chair of the Litigation Group, Miami, practices appellate advocacy, litigation, and dispute resolution. She represents local governmental clients in appeals, original proceedings for extraordinary writs, and trial and administrative-level litigation. Her practice involves a variety of business and government-related disputes, including challenges to state statutes, finance issues, public records and Sunshine Law claims, contract disputes, labor and employment issues, and bid protests. She has lectured frequently on these areas of law, including providing training to public officials on public records law and the Sunshine Law. Ms. Neiberger graduated first in her class from the Florida State University College of Law in 2009. Upon passing the bar, she was elected to the Florida State Chapter of the Order of the Coif, and honored by the Florida Supreme Court for highest performance on the bar examination. She received her bachelor’s degree in linguistics with honors from the University of Florida in 2006. Florida Trend magazine named her as “Legal Elite” in 2012 to 2019. She has been selected as one of Super Lawyers’ Florida Rising Stars in 2015 to 2021.
