Tampa, Fla. — June 26, 2025 — Bryant Miller Olive P.A. (BMO) is pleased to announce that four shareholders have been selected to the Florida Super Lawyers list for 2025 and one associate attorney has been selected to the Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2025.
Super Lawyers is published by Thompson Reuters to recognize excellence in the legal profession based on legal knowledge, professional achievement and client service. Evaluation and selection for inclusion in Super Lawyers is based on peer evaluation and independent research.
Four firm shareholders receive recognition for excellence in legal knowledge, professional achievement and client service through their inclusion in the 2025 Super Lawyers: Denise M. Heekin (seventh year selected as a Super Lawyer), Elizabeth “Ellie” Neiberger (fifth year selected as a Super Lawyer; she was selected as a Rising Star from 2015-2019), Kareem J. Spratling (second year selected as a Super Lawyer; he was selected as a Rising Star in 2010) and Alan S. Zimmet (10th year selected as a Super Lawyer). Additionally, one associate attorney receives inclusion in the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars: Noah M. Daiker (first year selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star).

Heekin is the Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Miami office and Chair of the Labor & Employment practice. She is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Florida Bar, which designates her as an expert in her field. Heekin has represented management exclusively in the practice of labor and employment law throughout her entire legal career. She has advised clients in both the private and public sectors in all aspects of labor and employment law. Heekin has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers since 2019.
Neiberger is the Chair of the firm’s Litigation practice. She focuses her practice on representation of local government entities in appeals, original proceedings for extraordinary writs, and trial and administrative-level litigation. She lectures and provides training on these areas of law, including providing training to public officials on public records law and the Sunshine Law. Neiberger has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers since 2021 and was selected as a Rising Star from 2015-2019.
Spratling is the Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Tampa office and focuses his practice on Public Finance Law. He is particularly skilled in the role of bond counsel on conduit bond transactions. His experience includes nationwide representation of clients in bond financings and other complex debt instruments and has provided counsel on transactions with a combined principal amount in excess of $20 billion. He has represented governmental and quasi-governmental entities at all levels. He has also served as counsel to numerous private business entities, including banks, hospitals and nonprofit educational institutions. Spratling has been selected for inclusion since 2024 and was selected as a Rising Star in 2010.
Zimmet has more than 40 years of experience practicing law; he is a member of the firm’s Litigation group and is also a member of the Government Counsel Services Practice Group and is board certified by The Florida Bar in the area of City, County and Local Government Law. He also is a member of the District of Columbia Bar. Zimmet represents local governments, including cities, counties and special districts. His litigation practice focuses on construction matters, civil rights matters and other complex civil litigation cases. This is the 10th year he has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.
Daiker focuses his practice on all aspects of City, County, and Local Government law, including code enforcement, land use, quasi-judicial hearings, public ethics, civil rights, public employment relations, ad valorem taxation, user fees, special assessments, procurement, tort liability, and public records. He also provides legal counsel for local government operations, including drafting ordinances, resolutions, contracts, court motions, guidance documents, procurement documents, and legislative updates regarding both federal and Florida law. This is the first year he has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
